starving for fuel

'97 C-280 c.e. light came on -- if car was not warmed up for 5-10 minutes -- between 20 & 50 mph it would stall and sputter - once in overdrive and maintaining rpm ran great . would not act up again until motor cooled down . if car was warmed up for 5-10 -- ran great . made appt. at dealer --- never made it . car will crank - run long enough to burn the shot of fuel from the pump -- die . HAVE CHANGED FILTER

relay ? fuel regulator ? fuel throttle switch ?

low voltage to injectors ? PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN

ANY SUGGESTIONS / IDEAS GREATLY APPRECIATED
