2003 clk 320 stalling while driving
My sister has a 2003 clk320 that is stalling when you accelerate but cranks back up after. At first I thought it was low fuel so I put fresh gas in and added a bottle of techron. The car drive fine for me and did not stall. She gets I. The car and tries to go and she says it stops on her and turns back on. I'm driving the car now and it's seems to idle fine. I took it to autozone to see if it threw any codes and no codes came up. Has anyone else experienced this or can lead me to what could be wrong?

My daughter's CLK320 (2001) had a similar problem at 103,000 miles. Occasionally it would stall while idling at traffic lights, but would restart OK. Finally it died in front of the house, and was difficult to start, and threw error code P0335. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor. The problem never occurred again. Now it has 146,000 miles.
I think I could have got away with just cleaning the sensor, because when I took it out the magnetic end had a few metal particles stuck to it. |

Did you put a Bosh sensor at 103k?

Yes. It was Bosch.
