240D oil cooler, go or stay
I have a '80" 4 spd, 240D that I bought as a parts car (no AC) and it has NO oil cooler. I posted this over on Diesel Discussion and am fishing for some more input. Does anyone know the criteria for using an oil cooler?
Someone said Euro cars with no AC or auto trans were not equipped with them. After reading the thread on oil cooler hose replacement I got to thinking it might be nice not to have one for several reasons. Do any of you folks have any thoughts about this? If they can run w/o them on the other side of the "pond" why can't I?
