1997 E420
I'm just about to replace a battery in an E420 and trying to be safe. My understanding is that I take the grounded cable off the old battery first, and put it on the new battery last. But is the E420's positive or negative grounded? Thanks in advance from a newbie, Alex. |

haven't heard of a positive ground car in years. too much to go against in terms of accepted convention and practice. in any case your old battery should have polarity indicated right by the terminals...
