Magnesium cam cover corrosion

I have had two MB with mag cam covers. My current m104 has far less corrosion than my later model m111 but there are still signs of corrosion. Is there a solution to this problem other than buying a different car. Does someone make an re manufactured cam cover in a material other than magnesium?
