94 e320 trans fluid replacement
good day
i require help with draining the trans fluid on a 1994 w124 is the drain plug a hex 5mm screw? will this drain all fluid including the torque converter. i am a diy'er but not familiar with this model. |

do a search...there are plenty of step by step guides
when u drain the ATF it doesn't drain the torque converter also....u will need to unscrew the plug on the torque converter itself just make sure u change the filter too good luck, ren |

Your best bet is to just find a shop that has a transmission servicing machine. They will pump all of the old fluid out and pump new fluid in. They can change the filter while the trans is empty. This is much cleaner for you and normally runs about $90. For that little money there doesn't seem to be much incentive to crawl under there and get covered in ATF.
