97 E320 ball joints
I'm the original owner of my 97 E 320 - last service was 80k. Service tech says ball joints need to be replaced. Car has always been dealer serviced and driven by my wife (mostly highway).Any thoughts or history of this?

Have done many ball joints on these, This is a 210 chassis I believe. Easy not much to it , make sure you compress the spring for safety reasons of course ( the ball joint is the only real support , you can get a spring compressor from one of the parts store ,they rent them to DIYers) make sure you install the balljoint guide pin correctly or you can dammage it.
