Code Scanner Diagnostic Tool for iPhone? OBD OBD-2
Hi Peaches,
I have one foot in the Vintage section with my pre-computer car. The other foot here with ECM, CAN, sensors and computers built in to the car. What is SDS? I did a search before starting a thread and saw a mention with no explanation of SDS. My newly acquired MB is a 2001. I should be able to read OBD or OBD-2. Which iPhone Bluetooth reader are you using? What software are you running on your iPhone? My check engine light is on... What is available for reading fault codes on an iPhone or iPad out there? Which ones are good or bad? What does it cost for hardware and software? Thank you in advance for sharing your experience and wisdom!

For regular Android Smartphones, you can get an Elm plugin to the OBD connection on various cars, then many different apps for your Smartphone from Google play.

My friend recommended one made by Lemur that is iPhone compatible. Will let you all know what I think after using it.
