98 m104 engine hesitation

I had a mechanic replace my engine last year in my 99 w140.The donor engine came from a e class with a throttle that had a cable.Since then I have always had hesitation at a stoplight.I'd like to fix this.Any ideas, all ignition parts new,an cranksensor.Oxygen too,new MAF.

Check the fuel volume might be low, pressure is probably good but fuel volume low.
Had this problem on a 1994 E320 bad connection at the fuel pump was the cause of low fuel volume. When i tested fuel volume I used a fuel pressure gauge with a drain port connected to the schrader valve do not remember the spec but it was way off.
