i have a 92 400SE and the only one of my dash gages that work is the temp gage all the lights work but only the temp gage works ...what could be rong.....THANKS.

Tom:
You are spelling "wrong" incorrectly, please get it rite.
I believe you may have a fuse blown in your BM (Base Module).
The BM is located in the control module box, which is under the lid on the right rear corner of the under-hood area. If you remove the lid to access the control module box, the BM has a clear plastic door on top with fuses underneath this clear plastic door. Check those fuses out.

Is that what it was Tom? I know for a fact that one of those fuse can keep the speedometer from working, and another one of them can keep a diagnostic scanner from powering up.

I do what I can, I'm not compensated in any way. I want to help you out (as do others), but drop the 'tude, OK?
I'm not sure what else to check other than fuses. There could be a loose connection or dropped connection at the back of the cluster, or a fairly common problem is the printed circuit board in the cluster itself, which I believe is stall available seperately.

hehe But seriously give the post some time for some responses. you know you will get some good ones, sometimes it can take a few days to get the right response.

Just keep trying suggestions and report back in if they worked or not.

Good luck in your search for the fix, it would be interesting to find out what it is.

I'm not ticked off, exactly. I just want you to be patient. We aren't ignoring you. What I mean by "we all have lives" is that we all have jobs, etc, and you can't always expect an immediate response, especially on a weekday afternoon. Just chill.
