W123 replacement glass - is this a good option?
I just purchased an '84 W123. One of the headlights has broken glass.
Having called MB dealer here in Vancouver I was told that a new Hella eurostyle glass would be... $178CAD! Ouch. Anyway, I found this: Looks like a good purchase you think? Costs are SLIGHTLY less...! Any thoughts appreciated ![]() |

That is from Latvia and has at least $32 shipping, so you're at $61. Better than Mr Ripoff, but I think you can find local (if US is local) for this part in the 70-90 range. You need to get the correct part number first. I found several sources for 1238260790, but it may not be the right one for yours.

I'm up in Canada, so unfortunately I've got the shipping etc to deal with to get anything in here too. There's a couple of people breaking W123s in my area and they have eurolights - I didn't quite realise how much money people ask for them though!
So these are probably my best option it appears! |

No deals that will be beneficial from here. I've just ordered this glass from Latvia, so let's see if it's any good...!
