94 sl500. 5.0 engine... Need some help with the location of the crankcase position sensor. Any hints in replacing?

There are 2 position sensors: crankshaft position and camshaft position. (Obviously, the crankcase remains stationary.) Which of the 2 position sensors do you intend to replace?

We just replaced 2 crank position sensors on the BACK of my CL600. I am not sure but I swear that it now starts quicker and is more spirited (as if a 12 cylinder 390HP car isn't spirited to begin with.)
