Oh, where shall I purchase a rebuilt throttle actuator
I have the classic Limp Home Mode symptoms. Bought the car 6 months ago and found the wiring harness was in need of repair. So the throttle actuator may need replaced also.
Please suggest where I may get a good rebuilt one. In 2008, I purchased one from Phil, but seems the PeachParts site does not stock them currently. Your help is appreciated. 1995 Mercedes E420

Does your car have ASR? I recently found one for my 93 400E with ASR on eBay. It does matter if your car has ASR or not. The label on the ETA is either Green for non ASR or White for ASR. You can usually find a good later (after 2000) build date ETA for $200 or so on eBay.

Also be advised that you can use an ETA from a W140 car with the same M119 4.2 V8 as your car has but the cable will be a bit longer than you currently have. Its best to search via part # and match up what you currently have. There is also a break point somewhere in the late 93/early 94 time frame for the type of plug your ETA will have. The early ones have a pancake type connector and the later ones have a traditional plug which are not compatible with each other.

Great suggestion - Thanks
Going to eBay was the right thing, And suggesting I search by Part Number. (I knew that before, but you gave me an extra nudge)
To get the part number, I used EPC-net Online (EPC-net Online) Only today I searched me, and found the throttle under "Major Engine Assemblies". My first search was fuel system, which was wrong. One search in eBay, and there it was. Now to wiggle the throttle, so I can get it out of the car.

.....and I just remembered Victor in the Brooklyn area. He has a website but I don't have it handy. Highly recommended for just rewiring TA's.
