( Please Help ) 1990 560 SEC, Carburetor

I have a 1990 560 SEC, It is a V8, I don't know what size it is, But would like to know, I don't know how to tell, The car is nice, But has 224.778 miles on it, Anyway, It has a dead miss at an idle, It appears to be a vacume leak, If I put it in gear and hold the brake and give it any gas pedal at all the BAD miss immediately goes away, So I am sure it is a vacuum leak but I can exactly find it, Using carb cleaner I spray the sides of the intake it smooths out, I spray the injectors it smooths out, I spray under the throttle body is smoothed out, about anyplace I spray it smooths out, It seems like everything on it is leaking, I have been working on this for two day and am sick of it, From what I have been reading on here there are so many things that could be the problem, I think All This Stuff is old, worn out and bad, OK, MY QUESTION IS, If I remove all this injection stuff and adapt a carburetor and a low pressure fuel pump, Will it run, And run right as far as the ignition go's, Don't worry about the carburetor adapting part, I am a fabricator and a welder, That's not a problem, I am just concerned about unplugging the wires ? Is the computer and ignition going to be a problem ?
