1995 E320 Wagon sportline conversion

I am contemplating to upgrade the suspension on this wagon, using mostly sportline components, except for the rear sway bar that will be from a 500E, since sportline is NLA. Im wondering if anyone here has done any of these upgrades and what advice they may have for me. Not looking for a super stiff aggressive ride or anything, just want less body roll, diving etc.

Replacing all the rubber makes a huge difference. Subframe, control arms, Carrier arm.

Front sway bar on wagons is the same as sportline fyi

I have done the true Eibach conversion and LOVE IT! the wagon is so much more of a joy to drive now. less body roll, no nose dives on braking. you feel the road, but it's soft enough not to beat you up on LA city streets.

Originally I was going to do the upgrade on the front and rear, but ended up only doing the front. My mechanic emphatically persuaded me not to do the rear - as the rear feel is mostly from the hydroneumatic suspension. I am sure it would feel even better if I had done it, but wasn't worth the parts cost and labor.

You will need to decide how low you want to go - I just went standard sportline. No fender rolling was necessary, however on large road dips, I do rub my front mudflaps.

Also, I should note that I am running 17" rims with this setup - if you're running stock 15" rub won't be an issue.

I do recommend upgrading to 17" rims - the ride is much more responsive and the grip is superior. You will see a slight reduction in mpg however.
