Dear friends,
Everytime in the morning when I first start the engine, I hear a fairly loud whinney noise which stays on for about 30 seconds and then goes away....!! It never comes back up once the engine has warmed up. Any idea what is going on???? Thanks |

The noise could be from the air injection pump as it only comes on when the engine is cold.

If the noise is louder than normal, I have seen the lower hose blow off the bottom of the air injeciton pump many times.
