w 140 brake caliper identification

It seems a problem now to get brake pads. They all want to know if you have girling,or ate calipers.ATE have that stamped on them,,and Girling a G somewhere. But in my case I have Lucas calipers.Lucas are Girling,I had a heck of a time finding that out.In my area no Auto parts carries any w140 brake pads.So I ordered online,I run the ceramic pads,as the stock ones make your wheels nasty in no time.

oldsinner, I switched to Akebono (Europa) pads and will never go back. They are a semi-ceramic pad with NO brake dust. They also don't fade any where near as much as a stock pad. And they are about the same price. Am about to install them on my 2.5 ton CL600.
