I could definitely use some expert help here! I have an 86 300E with 105k that generally runs well. However, I am getting dismal fuel economy of about 12.5/17mpg (city/hwy). This has persisted despite a new O2 sensor, spark plugs, K&N filter and good driving habits. Any suggestions?

When the O2 was replaced was lambda checked? It should be about 50 to 60 percent for optimum fuel economy.

lambda? If you mean the air/fuel mix, then yes. If not, I'm in the dark.
