1994 E320 wagon front brake disc/rotor roll pin missing
When I remove the front tire on my Mercedes wagon, I noticed the Disc Brake Rotor Screw is missing. So I order the set of 4 rotor screws, part number 2014210171. Also I noticed the two holes that the roll pins should be on the rotor are missing as well. Is it necessary to have these two roll pins on the disc? I did some research on this issue and it seems that the roll pins are just for making sure the disc is in the correct alignment with the hub prior to putting in the 5 stud bolts on the tire. After trying to locate the roll pins part number so I can order these roll pins, I am at lost for the part number. Does anybody have any ideas on this issue of the roll pins? Any response, feedback is greatly appreciated.

No I saw the picture above and it is not the spring caliper pins. The two dowel/roll pins are located on the hub of the disc/rotor.

Roll pin part number: 001481 012018 (replaces 129 991 00 41).
Mercedes calls it a clamping pin or sleeve. |

Im sure one can source these roll pins from a place like ace hardware too. My local one has a giant fastener aisle with lotsa stuff like this.

Less than a month ago I replaced the front rotors on my wagon - which was the third since my ownership - and low and behold those silly little roll pins were still there!
