A.B.S. Brake Bleeding

Per the instructions, the A.B.S. brake bleeding must be done at 2 bar to open the valves. However, the two electrical connections are not allowing any pressure to build up. Must I replace the brake reservoir?

B.T.W., this is for a 1985 280TE.

Thank you in advance for any help!

Dmitry, thank you so very much!

I did the pedal bleeding the other day, so glad to know it was the right way.

B.T.W., to keep the pedal down since can't get help, use a aircooled Volkswagen flywheel. Done several this way.

Dmitry, ever had it where finishing with the front made the pedal squishy but finishing with the rear made it firm?

Feels just where the other was, good and solid. Driving around local feels maybe a tad soft, but pumping makes no improvement. Figure after do put some miles on, then do another round.

Also, would add with the A.B.S., critical to let sit for a day. Seems the unit holds air, as next day got a lot of air out of the first caliper. More so than letting it sit for a half hour.

Further, saw way more bubbles in the fluid than ever had with the many non-ABS that have done.
