Compression test results for a 500E

As part of a PPI on a 92 500E w/ 96,000 miles, the compression test results were: 180 on all cylinders, except 5 and 7, which were 170 (test done hot). Any feedback - is this acceptable? I need to know pretty quickly, so that I can say yes or no.
Thanks,

Tom

As long as they are all within 10% of each other, you should be OK.

That's great. I think someone, a long time ago, talked about 180 being pretty much new spec. All within that tight range is super.

Obviously no compression issues with this engine. Did you have a leak-down test down also? Just curious.
