Symptom 2. At stop and idle car will eventually shake like bouncing back and forth

Sounds like car is in limp home mode because of the lite being on. You are going to need to get code read. Go by Autozone or Advance (don't remember which) and get code read for free and let us know what they say.

Update on my baby my 99 e55 amg

Autozone read codes 0300, 0301, 0302, 0305
Multiple misfires
Cylinder 1, cylinder 2, cylinder 5

Looked at firing order and decided to change 2 coils for cylinder 1/2 and cylinder 4/5. Mechanic seems to think that coil for 1/2 is definite bad and it affected cylinder 5...
Coils aren't cheap even thru my Indy @ 165.00 a piece but i trust my Indy explicitly.

If you are in San Antonio, take your car/truck to Erik's Automotive at 5504 Bandera Rd...

Ignition wires are a very common cause of mis-fire on the M113........

Exclamation Update #2 99 amg e55

So my Indy took my baby out for a spin and tried to make the errors occur, meaning a misfire....well, he couldn't do it so electrically my baby is fine....but upon inspection I got an oil leak.....so that's the new issue....oh well, we solve it and go on....all error codes cleared and running like a top but for a leak which will be found and fixed tomorrow

Sound good.

Have you thought about a diaper for your babys leak. How many miles are on the car?
