1993 190e 2.6 Fuel pump relay location help

From everything I have read my Fuel pump relay is supposed to be behind the battery. But it is not there.

Behind the battery there is the FI ECU the OVP and 2 other large modules but no Fuel Relay. Can someone point me to where it might be.

Thanks

It's possible that one of those "2 other large modules" is your fuel pump relay. They usually aren't just a simple "cube" style relay.

I think that year uses a Mass relay. If I remember, it's part # 0075456532. It's a little larger than the earlier FP relay. It has a silver bracket with a locking knob on the top.

And if it doesn't, the problem is most likely fuel pump/fuel filter or ignition related.

If the vehicle will not start, pull air filter metal cover, pour very small amt. of gas into top of fuel distributor and try to start car. If it runs for a sec. or two, you have a fuel issue. If not, you have an ignition issue.
