How do i change spark plugs?

My car is not firing up properly, I want to know how to check if the spark plugs are firing.what tools do i need.

87' 300E champagne - Euro headlights and corners, 8-hole rims, 140,000miles/220,00km.

Special tool made for pulling plug ends off of M103 motors. This site may sell them. If not, check out:
