SL 500 TOP REMOVAL NOT WORKING?

So summer is here and it's time to remove the hard top. Went thru the ritual of switch on, parking brake on, windows down, doors open, unplug the defroster plug and pull the switch before 10 seconds and... silence!

Checked the hydraulic fluid...ok. The tech at MVP couldn't get his analyzer to tyalk to the computetr. Dan's back Monday but I'm wondering if it's something simple?

Just ahead of the battery ( if I recall correctly or might be in the RF of the spare tire well. ) there are 2 relays, one is fuel pump and the other for top pump motor, there should be a fuse on at least the top pump. There is also a sub fuse box in the trunk, right side forward. I don't have a fuse list for this so check them also.
