W123 aux cooling fan

I've been using my AC a lot since I put my 280 on the road and as far as I know my electric cooling fan has not activated yet. I was parked with the AC on and temp got up to 100 and stopped but the fan still didn't turn on. Does anyone know when it is supposed to turn on. I checked the relay and fuses and all are good. I'm just looking for when it should be on so I know if something is wrong. Thanks

Also I got water leaking on to my passenger floor when I use the AC. Im wondering where the drain is so I can check to see if it is plugged.

There should be two switches on the dryer - one with spade lugs on it, the other with pigtail connectors. The one with pigtail connectors is the fan trigger. Bridge the harness side contacts and the fan should engage. If so, the switch is bad. If not, the fan side is bad. The switch goes into the refrigerant system so replacing the switch means evacuating and refilling the system.

Later cars have additional circuitry to trigger the fan and cut the compressor based on coolant temperature.

I'm not familiar with the 123 but generally there are hoses through the tunnel walls above the transmision bell housing. Probe but don't poke aggressively. The hoses might be brittle and it's a fine line between clearing and tearing.

This picture might help -

The drain hose and high and low pressure hoses all go through the firewall right under the battery - passenger side.

Ok I found a drain hose basically dead center behind the center console and it runs towards the passenger side and into the tranny tunnel. I blew threw it with my air hose and it is all clear. I found a little bit of stuff in the end of the hose and I thought that it was the issue but as soon as I take a turn when driving the water leaked all over the pass floor. Is there another hose or something that I missed.
Also my AC dryer setup only has one sensor with four wires. Apparently this is different from everyone else. The biggest problem right now is the water leak.

Ok fixed my leak turns out my blower motor resister was loose and letting water come through. With the aux fan I ended hooking it up so it turns on with the AC. So far so good, but if it starts leaking again I think I'm going to just roll my windows down if it gets hot.
