Here`s my problem ! Ever since i got this car the driver side back portion of the seat does not work it goes forward and backwards but it does not recline nor does it go up and down when i try to adjust the seat with the switch i keep hearing a clicking sound under the seat. Could this be a relay problem or mabye a bad door switch? Also while i`m here i might as well ask about my cruise control, Here`s this problem I used the cruise control for the first time last week (car did`nt come with manual) When i finally figued it out and got it on the car keeped surging fast to slow etc etc.

Since you can hear noises from under the seat when the switch is moved, the switch is working. The problem could be that the motor the moves the seat back is bad. There are different motors for each different movement.

As for the cruise control...most of the time the surging is caused by a faulty control unit. There are rebuilt ones offered through most independent parts suppliers.
