Mercedes CLS500 W219 Driver Side Mirror Insert Replacement Help needed.
The driver side mirror on my CLS500 has gone dark on me. I ordered an e-bay replacement which is heated but doesn't have the Auto-dimming function.
The new one only has 2 pins for the heated mirror feature. What do I do with the rest of the wires which I assume are associated with the auto dimming option? If I cut those wires will it trigger Warnings? If someone has experience with this, could you please help. Thanks

Just tape over the connector with electrical tape to keep moisture out, don't cut it.
