So I see the blitz of promotion online for the Icarsoft with the MBii heavily promoted, and also the Autel scanner is promoted at the less than $200 price range for some functions which can reset the trouble codes and perform system checks. Im getting cross eyed trying to compare features and models of code readers and would love a good suggestion including a tool which is generally usable on other cars as well as the MB, even if its a bit more.

Not ready to jump into any Star system or (knock off) programming tools. But Id like as much function scanning ecu and transmission and systems..in a self contained tool which is as current as possible.

Seems the Chinese are our only option here..Bosch has one but I dont see it describe anywhere in detail..Its probably also Chinese made!
