2.6 190E shifting issues
'm having problems with my 722.4 transmission not wanting to shift unless I release the gas all the way. I just rebuilt the transmission and I have no idea what it could be. I've adjusted the bowden cable and it makes no difference. If I drive with the throttle at 20% it will just rev until I let go off the throttle then it will shift. Any ideas on what it could be? Vacuum modulator seems fine cause when I let off the throttle it shift smoothly. Any info would be greatly appreciated

You have 2 cables they need setting up .one is for the injection and one is for for auto box kickdown .Did you adjust the wrong one . Look in HOWTO ^ above you might find info in there .Also check out the small micro switch , it should be in closed position by the quardant lever.

We're not there but this really sounds like either the bowden cable is miss adjusted, a vac line is unhooked, or "vacuum module" (unsure of its true name) on the trans is damaged in some way. The valve body could also causing this but its very unlikely.
