My vehicle has a slight freon leak, short of buying a new $800 hose, is there anything else I can do to fix the problem? Are there known seals that go bad that cause this problem?

Well, is it the hose or the seals??

Many a/c specialty shops can install new rubber hoses on the compressor manifold hose.
