I will add to websites here that, between the two of them, have an enormous amount of a/c information. In addition to the refrigerant capacities as found in Mikes website, they have oil capacities for systems, r12 to r134 capacity differences and lots of other good info. I'm not trying to upstand Mikes website, but merely trying to make even more information available.

Your reply about flushing earlier this morning got me pointed to acsource.com. Flushing guns, flush solvent, instructional manual($20), etc. That was a big help.

Thanks again for your contributions. Come hell or high water, I'm gonna fix this old R-12 system.
