w124 cabriolet owners
Dear all,
My 94 cabriolet has a rattle in the upper windshield frame, center section essentially above the dome/map light assembly. To my ear it sounds like metal rods possibly connected to the soft top latch assemblies that may have un clipped from their isolators making the rattling. So far the soft top latches work as they should, but the rattle is driving me batty. Also, the locks, handles and visible latch hardware is tighly mounted, and the noise originates from inside the a pillar head rail.
Has anyone experienced the same and have any insight as to the possible causes, that they can share?
