Hi Folks;

I just replaced the engine and transmission mounts on our 1999 C230K with the M111 engine.

The car started and I was able to drive it off the ramps. Then the engine stalled and will not start. After that, all the engine will do is start momentarily but then shuts off. I am wondering if I overlifted the engine during the lift to remove and install the mounts. There was a moment when the engine seemed to suddenly release which I assumed to be the mounts releasing after holding the engine for 20 years. I did both mounts at the same time - if that makes a difference.

The check engine light is not on.

This sure seems odd to me but perhaps I damaged something somewhere. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated!
