where to fit a gamecube in my 500E?

Hey guys, I've been looking about getting a gaming system for the 500E and some LCD's...for now just one LCD in the front, lcd's on the headrests later. But for a gaming system I want to get a gamecube, I personally love the size of it, and like the games better than a PS2 (i'm a super smash brothers addict). But...I was wondering where the best place to put it would be? I was wondering if it would fit in the rear glove box that sits between the two rear passenger seats in the 500E? Anyone know if it would fit? I don't have a ruler to get dimensions at the moment. If so, how would i run the power cables and everything if i put it in there? Putting it in the trunk would probably be the best idea for cables and everything, but what if i would want to change the game? I'm not gonna pull over Where else could i put this sucker?

I don't know if anyone's gonna run out & grab a ruler for you , but I will advise that it's relatively easy to run cabling to/from the rear center console. You would cut a hole an the back of the console, grommet any wires you run to/from the cube, and the wires would run out of the console, below the upper seat cushion/to the rear of the bottom cushion, then up and over into the trunk to grab power right at the battery.

Good luck!

ok after measuring i don't think it will fit as planned, not enough height room. I would like to make or put a swivel, so it will sit above the front passengers seat, right under the airbag, if needed they can reach under and pull it out on the swivel, then push it back under when done. Only problem is...controller wires I'll have to figure that out, or find somewhere nice to put it in the back.

From the owner's manual, I've always wondered why anyone would need to take the bottom seat cushion out of the W124. Maybe this is the time to do it? There are some space below that can accomodate some electronics. I don't know how big a game cube is...

I don't remember all the details. But I thought it was in the owner's manual that had a couple of clips you depress and the entire bottom seat cushion (rear) comes out. My first thought was how nice - makes a great place for smugglers. You'll have to look through the 124 owner's manual, maybe someone has one handy they recite it to you. I am not close to any of my cars right now.
