Anyone have a failed M104 Late Belt Tensioner?

Unless someone has done this before, I wasn't able to find an answer - only posts asking the question.

Need one for test fitting to see what is required to swap an early tensioner with a late on in a 104.

If you have an answer, even better.

PM if you can help.

I’ll look around. I replaced both the SERP tensioners on my cars. I may have one on the shelf but I typically toss all old unrebuildable parts

Thanks for checking. I do the same, but surprisingly find a lot of parts I should've tossed hiding in bins/boxes. Appreciate it.

I've done it on my 103 which is pretty much the same. Its been quite a while, but the big thing you need the compressor mounting bracket, which on my donor was a 3 bolt mount for the compressor, but I made it work. I don't recall what else is needed to mount the PS and tensioner, but you'll need a junkyard donor to get all the parts.
