turn signal problem - 16V
hi all-
i've recently changed the front headlight and front right side signal bulbs in my euro 16v. the fronts are piaa high intensity and the signal bulbs are regular wattage. After adding/changing the bulbs, the right turn signal does not work when the front headlights are on. I.E. If the lights are off, no turn signal problems, but when the lights are on, the right turn signal does not work. Its real dangerous when driving at night and I need to make a right turn. Could it be a short in the wiring, or was something wired incorrectly. Could it be the PIAA bulbs? Also when the headlights are on, the rear right turn signal stays illuminated yellow permanently. Could someone let me know what to do. thanks. |

The bulbs get their GROUND at the same small bolts under each of the headlights. The higher wattage of the bulbs aren't allowing the turn signals to get a good ground. TRY removing the bolts & cleaning the wires & area that they contact.
