One of the first things I did to my 87 300D was to swap 4 piston brakes from a 93+ w124 (6cyl cars also had them) with 8 hole wheels.

I do have the 15 hole wheels. That must be my issue.
Thank you for that, I just found a guy with a set with brand new tires for $260 locally
