'89 190e window stuck, Help!

Hey all, I am glad to have finally found such a great Mercedes Benz resource here. I have run into a quirky situation here, the rear right power window on my 1989 190e is stuck about an inch down and won't move up or down. I took the door apart and noticed a metal cord loose(obviously part of the window regulator correct?). My first question is, is there a manual way to just roll it up for the time being? Or, does anyone know anyway to get the window up? I really feel uncomfortable driving it around with the window down.

Secondary question which doesn't need attention right now . . . has anyone else had this problem and can point me to any resources to fix it? Thanks in advance!

STUCK WINDOW

YOU NEED TO CUT THE WIRE TO PUSH UP THE WINDOW. THEN JAM SOMETHING IN TO KEEP IT UP. THE ONLY FIX IS A NEW REGULATOR.
