722.605 trans filter
can't figure out which brand has metal screen filter. Filter media is bad for the trans.

could not find one. so if mines metal, I will clean and reuse. Heard the felt ones no good for 722.6xx

Don't know where you heard that because the filter media type filter is all they ever shipped with. MB (and pretty much any other transmission manufacturer) has used filter media filters since the 1970s. Yours will not be metal.
