Help! This piece fell out of my air flow meter.

This fell out of the air flow meter (fuel dist. attached , lower rubber boot off) while I was cleaning it.

It has marks along the side as if it is an interference fit, but it also has some chuncks/nicks missing, like it got stuck between something.

Seen one before? Anyone has a schematic of a fuel distributor?

TIA

Tinker

Thanks and your absolutely right, it is the cover to the mixture screw.
