1986 420SEL linking oil when driving

I drove my car for about five hours at about 80 and ninty miles an hour in 90 degree weather. when I came to a stop the car start smoking due to oil leaking on the exhaust system, from the oil pan to just pass the rear passener door. this car has 188,000 miles on it.
Does any have any notions to what broke.

thanks to all of you for passing such good info
