Remote battery change
Got a newer version of the remote many years ago and it needs to have the battery changed. Owners manual shows how to do it with the OE remotes, but this one is slightly different and I don't want to screw it up. Got info about how to access the battery?

I found a YouTube video for mine, searched on replace Mercedes key remote battery.

So I got the unit opened and the battery tests nice and strong. It will unlock the car and will open the trunk with no issues. It just won't lock the car. Ideas?

And now it's working again. Took the battery out and carefully bent up the contacts. We'll see if that's a permanent fix or not.
