Manual Window Cranks
Hi there. Just joined the forum and I have a question.
We have a 1983 240D that we just purchased. Really nice shape, needs a few minor things. The car has manual windows and all four of the cranks / winders point in a different direction when the windows are closed / up. I suspect that at least three of the door panels have been off at some time. I really have no idea what the correct position / clocking / orientation of the cranks should be when the windows are closed / up. Any help (photos ?) would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

put them how you want them and fuggedabout it.
Actually with this choice I will put them so the weight of the crank does not pull them to the open position.
