Unhappy How to exit my failed MB experiment?

I have a 1987 190E 2.3 that is going to have to be put down. I've had it for about two years. There was evidence of advanced engine wear when I bought it, so it is not a surprise that it finally gave up the ghost. The engine is beyond repair by any practical means.

Now I have two problems. How do I dispose of the car? Is there any value to these things? The interior and most of the body panels are perfect. Everything worked except for a couple of electrical switches.

The other dilema is whether or not to try another MB. This seemed like a fairly solid little car, but even minor repairs are so costly that driving an old one is a pretty substantial risk.

Any suggestions?
