I am not exactly sure want your looking for, but have you tried 1-800-FOR-MERCEDES
They have CD's of the manufacturer's repair volume's on many cars.

I just realised your in the South Pacific. The Mercedes phone number will certainly be different. But Mercedes does make available manuals for cars that are no longer under warranty.

also try www.haynes.com I think taht is the address. Haynes offers manuals for many cars.

What years were you involved in the war?

I served in Vietnam, from 1966 to 1969, I was a C130 loadmaster.

Appreciate your advice, but my car an ML is current production, and I have been everywhere to get info, but I am not doing much good.

No kiddin'? My brother in law was a C130 loadmaster in Nam too!
USAF of course. I think a little later than your time though, I know he was in the states again by '72 (maybe there from 68 or so to 71). The family stayed in Japan. Retired and living in central Florida now, last duty was at Eglin AFB and loves the warm weather, no moving back to Wisconsin for him! And to think he wanted his last post to be in Alaska! Maybe better pay?
