Window switch issue

Trying to diagnose a weird window switch issue.

1985 300SD California edition.

My passenger rear window will not go down when using the switch at the door.

From the front switch, I can control both up and down just fine.

From the rear switch (on the door) I can control up just fine.

The motor is obvious working as I do have both up and down from the front. But also from an external battery using leads.

I have 3 different switches all of which have the same response; up but no down.

I've done the continuity tests on the switches based on the service manual and it appear the switches are functioning correctly.

I believe it is something to do with the connector but the only thing I can think of there is a bad connection. I've adjust the female bullet connectors within the connector to no avail.

Additional details: driver side works perfectly. Child switch is working and is/was set to allow movement during tests.

Thoughts? Thanks, Spencer
