Thanks for the info on the overheating problem, I'll give the thermostat a try.

The oil light seems to come at various times, seems to be affected by going up (light on) and down (light usually off) hills. Oil pressure is constant at 3 bars, Oil Level just below full mark. Does this light indicate oil level problems or oil pressure problems ( I do not have a manual for the car). My thoughts were possible faulty sensor. Any information anyone has would be appreciated.

You should have a faulty sensor.
sensor is locate at oil pan (driver side)
engine oil level sender unit 124-542-00-17.

The light is indicative of low level not pressure.

Possoble that level sensor is bad but save yourself some time and money (maybe) While a helper with a watch is in the drivers seat with the engine running unplug the sensor at the oil pan. The light should not come on for aprox 30 seconds after the sensor is unpluged. If it comes on immediatly the problem is in the Tri-Gadge cluster. If the delay is working properly then the problem is most likely with the sensor.
