Oil Around Cross-Over Bolt M104

Just noticed today that there seems to be a bit of oil pooling around one of the bolts holding down the plastic intake cross-over pipe on top of my 97 SL320’s M104. Nothing else is wet or leaking. Car has 56k miles on it. Any thoughts?

Nothing of concern as far as it being a problem. It’s just an annoyance likely caused by seepage through the threads on the stud into the valve cover. If you’d like to fix it the stud would probably have to be removed and sealant sparingly applied to the threads.

Do double check that hose next to the stud/nut for porosity.

Leave it alone unless it bothers you.
