M103 timing chain cover sealant

Hi guys,

just a question- when resealing the timing chain cover on a M103 which sealant should I use for the cover and for the gasket?

1) Some DIY guide I found recommends using Loctite 5900 for both cover and gasket.

2) In some older thread I found

001 989 61 20 10 (pink anerobic sealant) for the gasket

and

002 989 00 20 10 (gray aerobic sealant) for the cover which seems to be unavailable

3) In some old WIS available online I found

002 989 45 20 10 for the cover (unavailable)

and

001 989 45 20 10 for the gasket (unavailable)

4) In some other thread I also found 003 989 98 20 10 but it´s unclear weather it is for cover, seal or both...

Now I´am quite confused which one should I use. Any help here?

Thx in advance,

Lukas
